Question

SO this is kind of hard to explain, but here it is:
My dad often “play punches” me. Usually I laugh it off, but yesterday I was seriously mad at him and he kicked me. I went to go shower, and, I know this sounds terrible, but I wanted to frame him, so I hit where he kicked me until I couldn’t even stand it. The next day I showed him the bruise, but he laughed it off and “play punched” me again. So that time when I was showering, I started hitting myself. Not where he punched me this time. Just anywhere. So I guess my question is, how do I stop? Please help!

I think you need to think about this more seriously. Your dad is hitting you - and doesn’t care about your injuries. This can count as abuse, even though it doesn’t feel as though he meant it to be like that. Don’t punish yourself further, please. It just simply isn’t the answer, it’s only hurting you and making you feel unwanted. You need to tell someone about your dad. Tell someone at your school (preferrably a teacher) and ask what can be done about it. I am so sorry to hear this, I hope it gets better.xxx
